About Silk Road Routes
The Silk Road is divided into 3 parts: Xi'an to Dunhuang, Taklimakan Desert to Kashgar, beyond Kashigar and starts from Changan (nowadays Xi'an), passes westwards via Lanzhou, Hexi Corridor, and splits at Dunhuang from south and north of Taklimakan Desert.

The Eurasian Silk Road refers to the Silk Road, a historical trade route that traversed the Eurasian continent and promoted China's friendly exchanges with Asian, European and African countries. As China is the home to silk, silk is the most representative commodity exported from China.
